10) Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind (Release Date: February 25)

Okay, I cried.

I seriously need to catch up: I’m only on the fourth level of KH3 on my Xbox One right now and this is coming out, uh, tomorrow. This especially is embarrassing since I literally preordered this game when it came out a year ago. I choose not to spoil myself with the trailer, which is ultimately fine when you’re dealing with this series and nothing makes sense. I also skipped everything since the ORIGINAL Kingdom Hearts, though I had many a fond sleepover centered around that game in 7th grade back in the day.

9) Doom Eternal (Release Date: March 20)

A match made in Heaven... err, I mean Hell #AnimalCrossing #DoomEternal #NewHorizons

Another game I am still working on the prequel for, and will likely end up caving and buying and spoiling for myself anyway. Rip and Tear until it is done! This game shares a release date with my #1 spot, speaking of spoilers!!

8) Half-Life: Alyx (Release Date: March 23)

This gets docked many spots because I don’t currently have a VR setup. So even though it’s a Q1 release (which tends to be where the critical darlings land, outside of fall tentpole season).

I am hyped ffor this seriously just because I cannot grok the controls on PC. Like, I know this is a game about mastering the editing tools, Adobe style, and I cannot bring myself to do that for some sad reason. Hopefully the almighty Xbox controller can fix that for me.
