Half a Dozen Haikus I wrote on Discord

Here are six haikus I wrote for the #haikus channel on my discord. So far that’s the entirety of the content there. I think writing haikus is a great exercise for anybody to try to get their creative juices flowing, so join and drop some nature-centric 5-7-5 poems of your own.

Heavy rain falls fast

Thickening cobblestone snow

Muffled drops and cars

The cat is curled up

Could choose anywhere but picked

My foot of the bed

Mirrors and Posters

An imagined future and

A reality

arrowheads pierce screens

sunlight bleeding on the floor

a new day warmth pools

carbonated drinks

and sweet crumbly things to eat

big old sugar rush

the stumps that peek up

from vernal ponds know seasons

may flood into years
